Tsuga Audio: Where Innovation Meets Sonic Exploration

In the rural heart of England—between rolling hills and ancient woodlands—Tsuga Audio creates tools for a new era of sound. Here, the quiet chorus of nature meets the otherworldly pulses of experimental design: bleeps, grumbles, and hypnotic tones that point not to nostalgia, but to the future of audio.

Our mission is simple: to pioneer sonic possibilities. We honour the legacy of classic gear, but we're not here to replicate the past. Instead, we challenge conventions — merging cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of sound's emotional and technical dimensions.

A Journey Rooted in Innovation

Tsuga's story begins with a lifelong obsession with sound. From the humble Casio VL-Tone (1979) to the chiptune soundscapes of Sinclair and MSX computers, those early experiments paved the way for Envosound — a project inspired by the BBC Micro's iconic ENVELOPE command.

After studying computer systems engineering with a focus on digital signal processing — including building a multband graphic equalizer controlled by a linear potentiometer array — our founder pursued a career in enterprise software, before returning to his first love: audio as art and science.

Today, Tsuga Audio stands at the intersection of precision engineering and creative exploration. We build tools that don’t just sound extraordinary—they inspire extraordinary sound.

Welcome to our world.
